Reade & Amanda - Hi Howard...when is the next time you are traveling to melbourne? If you are interested in presenting at a small community meeting in Tyabb, we can put you up at our place on a 'kind of' comfortable futon...we would like to provide a presentation on green streets, run a transition towns film and invite everyone to bring a plate...sometime in the new year, but will fit in with your schedule.

NACC Sustainability-People - The Samford Green Street Café overflowed with a hundred patrons and plenty of ideas at the function held at the Java Café on 23 October. Organised by the Pine Rivers Climate Action Network as part of Samord Green Streets the Café was a great social evening where people also responded to some ‘conversation starters’ around what Samford is already doing to be more sustainable and what else it might do in the future to be more sustainable. some action shots here. contact [email protected] or 0407 190162 for more information. Cheers, howard Nielsen

NACC Sustainability-People - Things we are doing ok with re sustainability:

-  use public transport and walking as much as possible

-  minimising energy use

-  use sustainable materials more often

Things to do better include:

-  do even better with public transport and walking

-  minimise flying time

-  focus even more on working with local clients

-  develop a better procurement policy
